While the 4th of July may be the *official* holiday, if you’re in Burlington, Vermont, July 3rd is the real party. 

We love a good Independence Day party and are proud to be part of the upcoming 4th of July celebration at the Burlington Waterfront. The Skinny Pancake is preparing to rock out on July 3rd as the city hosts its annual fireworks display. As the largest celebration in the state, you can expect family-friendly activities all day long.  

At our waterfront location, we invite you to join us for a Party on the Patio. For the Independence Day celebration, we will have live music, delicious food, yummy drinks, and a fantastic seat at the fireworks show.

Pony Hustle at the Patio

Burlington’s very own Eric George will join us as he leads a special performance with his band, Pony Hustle. Dedicated to having an authentic country sound, the high-energy band will remind you of the honky-tonk bands of the 1950s. Songwriter and lead singer Eric George will get the crowd stomping their feet as they wait for the big fireworks show. Once the fireworks are done, the band will return to the stage and keep the party going even longer.   

The Fireworks Show

The Independence Day fireworks will start around 8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. once it gets dark enough to truly enjoy the spectacle. The fireworks are a sight to behold as they reflect off the water. Arrive early at the waterfront since the city’s park department has a jam-packed schedule for the day. Along with a stop at the Skinny Pancake, you can shop local vendors, listen to live music, and enjoy family activities. What to Expect at The Skinny Pancake

The patio at the Skinny Pancake will give you the view and vibes you want for the 4th of July. We invite you to come hungry as you sample some of the best crepes you’ve ever tasted. Whether you like sweet or savory, we have them all. Top picks for those with a sweet tooth include the Choco Nutty, Heartbreaker, SugarShack, and Blueberry Pie. If you’re more of a savory fan, you’ll love the Cubano, Popeye, Lumberjack, or Vegan. Along with crepes, we have breakfast entrees all day, burgers, sandwiches, and much more.  

Don’t worry about missing the show when you come to the Skinny Pancake. Place your order and head out to the patio. We will bring out your food once it’s ready. We also have an online menu for those who want to pre-order and pick up at our waterfront location (60 Lake Street). We have daily operating hours and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
