Located at 41 State Street in Montpelier, their menu highlights gluten-free and vegan options like Crunchy Peanut Pesto with Chicken Springroll and the Sun and Bloom sushi roll. They also have flatbread sandwiches, baked goods, hot and iced teas, and smoothies. The North Branch is an excellent restaurant for a healthy, light meal.

Morse Block Deli

The Morse Block Deli works with local farmers to get the freshest produce available in the area. Located at 260 North Main Street in Montpelier, their menu stars several sandwiches perfect for any time of the day.  Grab the Egg Sando is ideal if you’re in the mood for breakfast, the Granite City for Thanksgiving in a sandwich, and the Craft Grilled cheese for that picky little one.

  • North Branch Nature Center – Opened in 1996, the North Branch Nature Center has been one of the top places for visitors to hike, ski, swim, and relax. This 28-acre preserve of forest and fields is right next to the North Branch of the Winooski River,  just two miles from downtown Montpelier. 
  • Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks – Stop in for free sugarhouse tours and tastings, a nature trail, a country store, and a fantastic outdoor Vermont farm life museum.
