Fred Haas Organ Jam

Fred Haas (saxophone) is the Senior Lecturer Jazz Professor at Dartmouth College and has toured the world playing with Ray Charles, Pat Metheny, Lena Horn, Gene Bertoncini, Sheila Jordan, The Dorsey Orchestra and many others. Fred communicates…he consistently displays not merely a knowledge of his craft, but a sincere dedication to sharing those ideas and ideals with others. Fred founded and is the Director of Interplay Jazz & Arts a non-profit organization that brings people together for workshops and jam sessions to learn, play, create, encouraging everyone live a rich life immersed in jazz and art.

Norm Yanofsky (organ/bass) has been playing jazz piano since college. He has performed in a wide variety of combos throughout the Upper Connecticut Valley for the past 25 years. He has been a participant at Interplay Jazz and Arts for the past decade. Norm has been an emergency physician at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for the past 35 years. He continues to practice part-time when he’s not playing music

Billy Rosen (guitar) has been playing jazz guitar since his teens. At the University of Pittsburgh, he studied jazz performance under the guidance of saxophonist Nathan Davis. Billy has also enjoyed a successful twenty-year career as an Ophthalmologist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Billy has studied and played with guitar greats Freddy Bryant, Jason Ennis, David Newsam, and Gene Bertoncini. Billy Rosen is a sought after jazz guitarist in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire, Vermont and Florida.
