Matt Seiple has been playing and singing his way around America for 30 years. From the streets of San Francisco to the cafes of New York City, the clubs of New Orleans and the honky-tonks of Nashville. In dingy dorm rooms and mountain-top monasteries, flat-picking festivals and catered conventions. In the cramped intimacy of a camper van and the cold rattle of a vacant boxcar, amidst the stale sweat on a Greyhound bus and the matted mud on a backwoods jeep. At empty open mics and endless all night jams, stoned-out beach parties, and booze-drenched fundraisers. From the gentle smiles of polite relatives and the indifferent stares of preoccupied strangers to the aggressive reproach of nonplussed neighbors and the enthusiastic spittle of lubricated pub patrons. From the sound-proofed basement of an exhausted old lover to the nervously quiet living room of a curious new one.
