We loved @churchstreetmarketplace so much that we eventually got 2 spaces on the block and would push the cart down the road from Upper Church to catch the bar scene late night, and bribe a doorman with late-night munchies to help us close up! 😅⁠

We do this primarily because it's fun to see where your hearts (and tastebuds😉) were taking you on your Pancakia tasting tours, but also because the crepes themselves are ultra-competitive with one another 🏁⁠

In the year 2021, folks were into the savory side of our menu and ate 29,611 Veggie Monsters...⁠

That's an average of ~81 a day pancakia-wide and a whole lot of cheese, spinach, roasted squash, caramelized onions, and pesto made with local ingredients.⁠

Our Stowe team was looking for ways to reduce waste and saw an opportunity to do so by seeing if bottled beverage options could be made in-house.⁠

After many taste tests, recipe reconfigurations, and ingredient adjustments, we've landed on 5 core flavors of these Stowe seltzers: Cranberry Lime, Blueberry Coconut, Strawberry Kiwi, Raspberry Lime, and Creamsicle.⁠

These seltzers are not made with alcohol but we certainly invite y’all to mix it up with something from the bar. 🍹⁠

This is Jamie Townsend of Springfield, VT. You can currently find his work hanging on the walls of our Burlington Waterfront location. Of all the artists we’ve hosted on the walls of Pancakia, Jamie is one we keep returning to year after year. ⁠

Jamie is a mural artist who has developed his own style after researching Abstract Expressionists, painting large-scale pieces, embracing the modern street art movement, and attending the Ringling College of Art + Design in Florida.⁠
⁠
Jamie's art is larger, acrylic on canvas pieces where he paints anything from the great outdoors of Vermont, to scenes from his travels within the US, Europe, and more. His combination of color and scale always looks right at home at an SP. ⁠
